Read “A Book of Seasons” by Alice Provenson, or another book of your choice about seasons.

Be Curious

Help your tot learn about the four seasons. Refer to SciShow Kids ”Why Are There Seasons?” or another resource of your choice, to help answer questions. Document as you learn, drawing pictures, making lists, and/or taking photos.

  • Have you noticed that it’s been [hot/cold/cool] outside lately? That’s because it’s [summer/fall/winter/spring]! That’s called a Season.
  • I wonder why we have different seasons. Do you have any ideas?
  • Let’s learn more together! This says the sun helps create seasons for us.
  • What names of seasons do you remember? Let’s write them down and draw a picture for each one!
