Read

Read “We Planted A Tree” by Diane Muldrow, or another book of your choice about birds.

Be Curious

Help your tot learn something new about trees. Refer to KidZone Science “Trees,” or another resource of your choice, to help answer questions. Document as you learn, drawing pictures, making lists, and/or taking photos.

  • Are you a big helper in our family? How? Did you know that trees can be big helpers too?
  • This says trees help give homes to bugs, birds, and other animals!
  • It says trees help give food to bugs, birds, and other animals too! Food like fruit, nuts, and even syrup.
  • It says trees help us have furniture, and even paper!
  • It says trees even help us breathe. Plus they are pretty to look at too!
  • Let’s look out the window. Do we see any trees? Do we see anything living in the trees? Any food growing in the trees? Which tree do you think is the prettiest?
  • Let’s look around our home. Can we find anything that’s made from trees?
